Rocket Introduces Internship Program

Packaging and display company Rocket has announced the introduction of its very first internship program, offering hands-on learning for college students over the summer.

“Our aim is to offer the program annually, fostering new talent while we help students gain the skills they need to succeed in the business world,” said Michael Kaplan, president of Rocket, in a statement. “It’s a competitive world and we feel strongly that it’s our responsibility to help the next generation.”

The internship program will host Samuel Kaplan as one of its first interns. Kaplan is the grandson of Michael Kaplan and son of Andrew Kaplan, who is vice president of sales for the brand. The third-generation Kaplan is an incoming freshman at the University of Michigan and will work on the business’s social media platforms within the company’s marketing department.
