Stuller, Inc. has partnered with Gemvision Corp., in an attempt to further enhance customization for retail jewelers.

Matthew Stuller, CEO, president, and founder of Lafayette, La.-based company that provides goods and services for jewelry professionals, and Jeff High, founder and president of the a jewelry-specific, software technology firm in Davenport, Iowa, say the move signals both companies’ “strategic next step.”

“We plan to tap into Gemvision’s market-leading technical expertise, which includes a number of CAD/CAM design and milling solutions,” Stuller said. “Gemvision’s emphasis on making technology easy to use and profitable for jewelers fits nicely within our Stuller Studio customization program. In today’s challenging environment, creating unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry for discriminating consumers is a critical profit strategy for retail jewelers.”

Stuller Studio, formerly known as Stuller’s “Have It Your Way” program, was introduced in 1995. The program is designed to provide jewelers the ability to design custom pieces using Stuller’s vast inventory of mountings, findings, diamonds and gemstones. The program also provides retail jewelers benefits such as effective inventory management and reduced overhead costs.

Gemvision has facilities in the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as a global network of authorized dealers providing two and three-dimensional CAD/CAM software, milling systems and both additive and subtractive prototyping systems.
