The second annual New York Antique Jewelry & Watch Show returned to the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City with a “strong increase in attendance,” according to show organizers.
The four-day event (July 25–28) featured more than 150 antique jewelry and watch dealers in America, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. One dealer featured a diamond encrusted watch previously owned by Sean John Combs (a.k.a Puff Daddy/Diddy/P. Diddy/Puffy).
“We are very pleased with the increased attendance during the second year of the show,” said Andrea Canady, fair director for dmg world media group’s New York Antique Jewelry & Watch Show. “We’re continuing to enhance and make improvements to ensure that next year’s show has an even stronger selection and positive show environment.”
The 2009 New York Antique Jewelry & Watch Show is set for July 24-27, 2009. The next show on the U.S. calendar for dmg is the Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show set for Oct. 24-26, 2008, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Fla.
