Award at the 20th annual Fashion Group International Night of Stars, held Oct. 30 at the Cipriani in New York.

This year, FGI honored The Dreamweavers: Those Who Inspire, the collective accomplishments of the world’s most inspirational individuals and companies whose originality and ingenuity have made a significant impact on design and culture.
Stanislas de Quercize, who accepted the award on behalf of Cartier, stated “Women use fashion, and jewelry as well as means to express themselves, their soul, their mood. I applaud the fact that Cartier, a jeweler is being recognized in the company of such great designers. This is probably a sign of the times when now more than ever we see on the catwalk, fashion, and jewelry combined, fashion and jewelry featured together on cover of magazines.”
The Fashion Group International Annual Night of Stars continues to be one of the most exciting events on the industry’s calendar. This year, Simon Doonan hosted the star-studded evening.
Other award recipients included Donna Karan, Dolce & Gabbana, Dries Van Noten, Jean Paul Gaultier, Philip Treacy, John Demsey of MAC Cosmetics, and renowned architect Calvin Tsao.
