SpendingPulse: Luxury Sales, E-Commerce Up

Luxury spending at high-end stores and restaurants jumped
8.5 percent in March, according to MasterCard Advisors SpendingPulse, a
division of the credit card company.

This marks the largest year-over-year increase since
December 2010, and the sixth consecutive month of growth.

The e-commerce sector also posted its fifth consecutive
month of double-digit growth, rising by 16.1 percent in March, according to SpendingPulse.
