The American Gem Society Fellow Award—an annual distinction recognizing outstanding contributions and service to the jewelry profession, the American Gem Society, and the recipient’s community—was given to six AGS member titleholders at its 72nd Annual Conclave.
The following AGS titleholders received the Fellow Award in 2006, its inaugural year: Tom Colucci, RS, Jabel Inc,; Lorraine Dodds, CGA, Karat Gold Corner, Inc.; Marcee Feinberg, RS, Lazare Kaplan Intl.; Robert A. Lynn, CGA, Lynn’s Jewelry; John Nash, CGA, Nash Jewelers; and Fred Weber, CGA, Weber Jewelers, Inc.
“The American Gem Society’s International Board of Directors put forth a resolution to establish the Fellow Award under the guidance of a newly established Fellow Committee,” said Ruth Batson, AGS executive director and CEO. “Fellow Award recipients are individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to high ideals and purposes.”
