Shane Co., a privately held jewelry store with 20 locations across the United States, received WeddingWire’s Bride’s Choice Award for 2012.

The family-owned store has been providing wedding jewelry to customers for more than 40 years. “We are a team-oriented jewelry store. Unlike other stores, our salespeople don’t work on commission,” says Rordan Shane, executive vice president of the company. “We want to create a low-pressure environment catered to customer service.”

The award, determined by the opinions of more than 1.2 million consumers, is based on five categories: quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value, and flexibility. “Being honored with an award in which the customer has the opportunity to vote makes us proud,” Shane says. “Without our customers, we wouldn’t have a business.”
