Longtime Alrosa vice president Sergey Oulin, who for years
acted as the Russian diamond producer’s representative at industry functions, has
been “relieved” of his duties, the company announced last week.
An Alrosa statement said its board “resolved to relieve
Sergey Oulin and Yuri Ionov, both former vice presidents of Alrosa, and
Alexander Efimov, former chief engineer of Alrosa, of their duties as members
of the executive committee, following the termination of their employment
contracts with the company.”
The board also approved Alrosa’s 2011 production target of
34.4 million rough diamonds.
