Schenectady Jeweler Named Chair of Local Chamber

Ray Bleser, founder of Schenectady-based Northeastern Fine Jewelry, has been appointed chair of the board of directors of the Chamber of Schenectady County.

Bleser brings 32 years of business experience to the role. His previous endeavors include founding Northeastern Coin Gallery in 1980, which he rebranded into Northeastern Fine Jewelry shortly thereafter.

As chair of the board of directors, Bleser will serve as an advocate for more than 1,000 regional and local businesses.

“We are fortunate to have Ray’s leadership for the next two years,” Chuck Steiner, Schenectady County Chamber of Commerce president, said in a statement. “Not only is he an expert in running a business, but he is someone to whom our members can relate, and from whom they can learn.”
