Ross-Simons, a retail chain whose first store opened in Providence, R.I., in 1952, will open its newest store in Delaware on Feb. 3. It will be located in the Christiana Mall in Newark, Del.

“It is a terrific location and we look forward to becoming an integral part of the Wilmington, nearby Pennsylvania, and Maryland communities,” said Darrell Ross, president and CEO of Ross-Simons, in a statement. “Since our customers can enjoy tax-free shopping, our legendary values on fine jewelry and name brand watches are even more exceptional than usual.”

After the opening of the Delaware store, Ross-Simons will operate 15 retail and outlet stores in eight states.
