Roberto Coin’s Olympic Jewelry

Who knew that Roberto Coin was a sports fan? Everybody does now since Coin has unveiled several new Olympic-inspired additions to his Tiny Treasures collection. The jewelry is Coin’s way of cheering on Team USA at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games that start today.

The collection features seven designs in total, including miniature figure skates, skis, snowboards (think the snowboarder formerly known as ‘Flying Tomato’ Shaun White), and, hockey sticks.

Pieces are made in 18k gold and feature diamonds, retail for $640 – $800, and will be available to various authorized Roberto Coin retailers across the United States (though Coin’s camp can’t say when, and, the games end until February 28).  Fingers crossed that consumers’ Olympic spirit is still strong when those pieces do ship.
