Compagnie Financiere Richemont AG reported that sales rose by 16 percent to $2.3 billion for the first six-month of its fiscal year ended Sept. 30, up from $2 billion in the same period of the previous year.
The world’s second-largest luxury goods maker reported growth across all markets and double-digit sales growth for its key brands, including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Montblanc, and specialists watchmakers.
Operating profit for the Geneva, Switzerland-based company in the period rose by 68 percent to $393 million, with a net profit of $317.8 million.
