Reffsin named president of Concord

Fred Reffsin was named president of the Concord watch division of the Movado Group on Sept. 12. He will be responsible for directing all worldwide sales and marketing activities for the brand, and will report directly to Efraim Grinberg, president and chief executive officer of Movado Group, Inc.

Reffsin’s experience in the luxury brand and watch industry will “help us build on the strength of the Concord brand,” said Grinberg. “In the few months he has worked with us in a consultant capacity, he has already been instrumental in strategically fortifying our organizational structure and refining our brand positioning. His clear customer focus and long term relationships with our retail partners will also help us leverage the capability of our Concord team.”

Reffsin most recently served as CEO of Camdens, Inc. from 1999 to 2000. He was president and CEO of Montblanc, Inc. from 1997 to 1999. Prior to Montblanc, he was president of TAG Heuer USA from 1996 to 1997 and its general manager from 1993 to 1995. Previously, he served in various managerial positions at Wells, Rich Greene BDDP.

Movado Group, Inc. designs, manufactures, and distributes Movado, Concord, ESQ, Coach Watch and Tommy Hilfiger watches worldwide and operates Movado boutiques and Company stores in the United States.
