The Annual Rapaport International Diamond Conference will take during the JCK Invitational event, both organizations announced Thursday. The JCK event is scheduled for Feb. 4-6, 2007 at the Hilton Hotel in New York City and the one-day Rapaport Diamond Conference will take place Feb. 5, 2007.

“The Rapaport conference draws the most influential people in the diamond and jewelry world and we are thrilled to host them alongside our New York City event,” said Dave Bonaparte, Vice President, JCK Events. “The JCK Invitational will offer the jewelry industry a chance to experience a winter jewelry Show unlike any other in the season now complete with the industry’s most highly-regarded diamond conference”

The fourth annual Rapaport Conference will focus on important issues confronting the diamond industry including: “Blood Diamonds,” “The impact of the Internet on Profits” and “Branding – Defining the Opportunity.” All profits from the Rapaport Conference will be donated to the Jeweler’s For Children charity.

The second annual JCK Invitational is an amenity-rich event that caters to independent jewelers who are interested in re-stocking as well as the major retailers who are interested in beginning their holiday purchase planning with many of the industry’s leading manufacturers—including several who are exclusive to JCK.
