The first Portland Jewelry Symposium for bench jewelers and retailers will be held Nov. 8 at The Westin Portland. The all-day event will include seminars on CAD/CAM technology, platinum bench techniques, palladium casting, and palladium selling techniques.
Seminar leaders for the event include Jurgen Maerz, Platinum Guild International technical director of Education, investment casting specialist Teresa Frye of TechForm, CAD/CAM specialist Steven Adler of A3DM, and Gary Dawson of Goldworks.
The non-commercial, non-profit forum is the result of a small group of people dedicated to elevating technology and learning in the jewelry industry.
