PGI Upgrades Consumer Website

Platinum Guild International’s (PGI) consumer website PreciousPlatinum.com has been redesigned with new tools for retailers while expanding popular sections with increased features and functionality for manufacturers and designers in the Design Gallery.

“The new features on PreciousPlatinum.com address feedback we received from consumer focus groups and members of the trade,” says Michelle Peranteau, Manager of Marketing Communications for PGI. “The revamped PreciousPlatinum.com has retained many of the established favorite features of the site, but they have evolved to answer the needs of the site visitors and trade. Additionally, it incorporates several new resources for both retailers and manufacturers, to which we’re already receiving a great response.”

When visiting PreciousPlatinum.com, look for new features, enhancements and added functionality to the following sections:

Design Gallery – Users can now search for platinum products based on jewelry type, occasion, stone setting and finish. When a desired product is found, a customized PDF containing product shots, product pricing and manufacturer contact information can be viewed and printed.  

Manufacturers and designers whose product is featured in the Design Gallery will have access to the website’s detailed tracking system, which identifies each brand’s most highly viewed product shots and the zip codes of the consumers viewing their product information.

Designer Profiles – Users are able to easily access a brands’ contact information while learning about the company’s history. 

Find a Platinum Retailer – The “Find a Platinum Retailer” section of PreciousPlatinum.com features contact information for all retailers mystery-shopped by PGI.

Hints & Tips – PreciousPlatinum.com now features a comprehensive “Hints & Tips” section, which gives sales associates the needed vocabulary to discuss platinum with savvy shoppers. 

Media Center – The website now has an updated Media Center featuring platinum jewelry in the media, celebrity images, consumer videos and advertisements. 

And, PreciousPlatinum.com’s high Google ranking gives designers increased online marketing exposure of their brand and product selection at no additional cost.
