Platinum Guild International USA raised a glass to its platinum “All-Star Team for their work to increase platinum awareness and desire among retailers. Sales professionals from platinum bridal jewelry manufacturing companies including Gumuchian, Kwiat, Ritani, Judith Conway, Lieberfarb, A. Jaffe, and Beaudry attended the party at Kevin St. James in New York City.
The event allowed PGI-USA to unveil several upcoming platinum projects, such as the “Show me the Platinum,” an initiative designed to reward manufacturing sales representatives and retailers for their “passion for platinum.”
Show me the Platinum is an incentive contest designed for platinum bridal jewelry manufacturing sales representatives and jewelry retailers designed to motivate sales representatives be on the look out for platinum signage in the bridal showcases of their retail customers. Sales representatives are asked to take a digital photo of the platinum bridal jewelry displays and then submit a contest entry at www.platinumguild.com. The contest which was launched at the party on July 30 will run until Dec. 31.
The grand prize winner, a sales representative who submits the most entries by Dec. 31, will win a five day trip for two to the Le Meridien Resort and Spa in Cancun, Mexico. The runner up will receive a $500 Bloomingdale’s Gift Card.
Retailers are also able to participate by displaying platinum signage that clearly identifies their platinum bridal jewelry in their bridal showcases. An independent panel will review the contest entries and three top displays will be identified. The three winning retailers will receive a platinum facilitated in-store training program, a visit by a mystery shopper (to evaluate their sales associates and how they are delivering the “Platinum Message”) and a listing on the Web sites: www.preciousplatinum.com and www.engagementguide.com.
