Northeastern at Ronald McDonald House Party

Northeastern Fine Jewelry will help brighten the holidays for families at the Ronald McDonald House of Albany, N.Y., with its support of its annual holiday party on Dec. 6.

The annual party is designed to provide a respite and holiday cheer for families living at the house while their children receive medical treatment at nearby hospitals and medical centers. The party also serves as a reunion for families and children who at one time or another have stayed at the Albany residence.

The party is partially underwritten by Northeastern Fine Jewelry. The jeweler is also collecting toys and gifts for the Ronald McDonald House its store locations in Albany, Schenectady, and Manchester Center, Vt.

In return for donating a toy item from the Ronald House’s wish list, shoppers receive a 15 percent discount. The offer is valid through Christmas Eve.

Items on the wish list include the latest releases of Wii games, the X-box 360, current DVD’s, movie theater passes, disposable cameras, a digital jukebox, popcorn popper and various toys valued at $20 or less to replenish the toy closet.

The party begins at 3 p.m. with Santa arriving at 5:30 p.m.
