New program is designed to convince brides to choose platinum

Platinum Guild International USA has launched a new marketing tool designed to raise awareness for platinum by offering brides products and services under a platinum value umbrella.

Called The Platinum Privileges Program, this benefits program offers bridal consumers a plethora of unique, high-quality services, products and discounts. It is an integrated effort with Fairchild Bridal Group, which concists of Modern Bride, Bride’s, and Elegant Bride Magazine. Benefits include:

* Deals at popular honeymoon destinations from the Bermuda Department of Tourism

* $200 discount off of any platinum and diamond jewelry purchase at Bailey Banks & Biddle

* 15% discount off an custom wedding invitation order of $100 or more

* $25 gift card toward a bridal registry purchase at Fortunoff’s

Bridal consumers will also have the opportunity to register to win a platinum and diamond pendant from Ritani’s “Endless Love” Collection, valued at $3,620. The program rewards bridal consumers with exclusive opportunities, upgrades and VIP incentives courtesy of PGI-USA and several high-end partners.

The integrated campaign includes in-book promotional ads in all three publications, starting with the spring issues thru the end of the year, including monthly emails to more than 140,000 registered brides. Participating bridal consumers can access program rewards by visiting a customized URL linked to the Fairchild Bridal publication Web sites.

The Platinum Privileges Program launched on Brides.com, ModernBride.com, and ElegantBride.com on March 31 and will run through Dec. 31.
