New Orleans jewelry show temporarily moved to Baton Rouge

The International Jewelry Fair/General Merchandise Show will be temporarily relocated to the Baton Rouge River Center (275 South River Rd.), Dec. 10–12. The show was originally scheduled to take place in the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Nov. 5–8.

Robert Kolinek, president of Helen Brett Enterprises, which owns the Jewelry/Merchandise show, says the event will return to New Orleans as soon as space is available.

Kolinek has also established the Robert B. Kolinek Foundation, a not for profit organization raising funds for the tradeshow industry and workers of Helen Brett Enterprises, including guard personnel, cleaning crews, and clerical staff affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Donations can be sent to The Robert B. Kolinek Foundation, c/o Brook Weiner LLC, 125 S. Wacker Dr., Chicago, IL 60606. Attn: Gordon Johnson, CPA.
