Cutting expert Nizam Peters has released Diamond Inclusions, a 200-plus-page
textbook that offers an “essential, in-depth study” of the subject.
The book’s first 117 pages define external and internal diamond
inclusions, and describe them full color photomicrographs, which track
inclusions from rough to the polished. Another section is devoted to the
diamond manufacturing process and its relationship to inclusions, and examines
how inclusions are impacted by pressure, directional rotation, and other
mechanical influences.
Peters
is the authors of numerous other books on diamonds and the director of the American Institute of Diamond Cutting.
