NAJ Appoints New CEO

The British trade organization, the National Association of Jewellers, has appointed Simon Forrester CEO.

He will take over the role next year.

Forrester has more than 22 years of experience in trade association management. In 2016, he was won the Trade Association Chief Executive of the Year award for his work at the British Pest Control Association.

He began his career at the National Health Service.

In a statement, he said his key priorities would be to “learn more about our membership, engage them with compelling benefits, work with the whole industry to advance the cause of our sector, and develop our team to address the challenges we face in the years ahead.”
