Bob Nachman has joined LID, Ltd., as its new national sales manager. Nachman will lead the company’s growth initiative with the country’s leading jewelry retailers in support of its new marketing effort behind its Diavante diamond jewelry brand.
Nachman, who is based at the polished diamond and diamond jewelry manufacturer’s New York City headquarters, joins a company that recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Prior to LID, Nachman was vice president of the Keen Division of the NEI Group, a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of diamond jewelry and watches where his management responsibilities included sales, product development, and marketing.
“Bob is a professional with great integrity with a proven track record second to none in the industry,” Lyle Rose, LID chief executive officer, said in a statement about the appointment released Tuesday. “His leadership skills will be most welcome at LID as we seek to build a world-class marketing team for world-class products.”
LID has principal offices in Israel, Japan, Hong Kong, and India where it owns a 120,000 square-foot factory for jewelry production and cutting and polishing of loose diamonds. LID currently markets designer diamond jewelry under the Diavante brand with its patented Princessa and Part Heart diamonds.
