MIDAS Texan will hold its first Southwest Star Awards as a way to acknowledge the retailers and sales representatives in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas who have made significant contributions to the jewelry industry through service, industry, and charitable organizations.
The Southwest Star Awards will be presented on Saturday, Aug. 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
The following retailers will receive the award:
B.C. Clark Jewelers-Northpark, Oklahoma City; Newton’s Jewelers Fort Smith, Ark.; Sissy’s Log Cabin, Pine Bluff, Ark.; and Troy Vinson Jewelers, Forth Worth and Granbury, Texas.
The following retail sales representatives will receive the award:
Carole Greenberg, Imperial Pearl; and William Miller, Haytayan Jewelers Inc and The W.C. Edge Jewelry Co.
