Micro-Blogging My First Vegas

I’m sitting in JFK, on my way to my first JCK Las Vegas Show, and something that a designer said last week while on a market appointment is really hitting home.

I was viewing her new line and asked if I could schedule an appointment to see the pieces that she was waiting to debut at the show. I guess I was a bit over excited because she said “Wow, I’m jealous. I wish this was my first Vegas. I mean after a while you just kind of go on autopilot at these big shows and I wish that I could approach it with your enthusiam.”

Maybe it’s just the fact that the show bears the name of the magazine, or that so many people that I would never see have reached out to make sure that we meet while in Vegas. Whatever the reason, I’m amped for this show!

This will allow you to “Follow Me” step by step through my first Vegas. Neat huh?

Note: It seems that Twitter is having server issues, see what happens when you try to show off with new pieces of technology? Hopefully they will get their end resolved soon, keep checking back!

Moving On: If you have a Twitter account, or a Facebook or MySpace or LinkedIn profile for that matter, feel free to reach out to me, I’d love to hear from you.
