Florida jeweler Mayors teamed up with Rolex to open “Rolex
Presented by Mayors” at the Mall at Millenia in Orlando, Fla., Dec. 8.
Within a half hour of opening, the store sold its first
timepiece, Eva Hartling, director of public relations and events at Birks &
Mayors tells JCK. “The store was very well received by the many clients and
mall visitors who stopped by,” Hartling says.
The store carries more than 300 Rolex timepieces and is the
second Mayors location in the Mall at Millenia. “Mall at Millenia is an upscale
shopping destination, making it the perfect location for our new ‘Rolex
Presented by Mayors’ store, one we know our customers will enjoy visiting,”
Thomas A. Andruskevich, Birks & Mayors president and CEO, said in a
statement.
“Mayors has a long-standing relationship with Rolex and
today we are pleased to establish a new milestone in our relationship with the
brand by offering this exceptional assortment of Rolex products to our
customers in the Orlando area,” Andruskevich said. Mayors has carried the Rolex
brand since 1963.
