Mauboussin, a 180-year old French jewelry firm, has reopened its flagship store
on Place Vendôme in Paris. The company hired Regis Pean, of the design and
architecture firm omni//form, based in New York, to remodel the 2,000 sq. ft.
store.
Features include exposed brick walls, wood floors covered with hand-knotted
carpets, a mirrored ceiling, and a huge fiber-optic chandelier.
