The Hearts On Fire Company announced Thursday the promotion of Mark Israel, currently the chief operating officer, to president of diamond brand company.
He will continue to hold the title of COO in addition to his new responsibilities, the Boston-based company said in a statement.
“Mark has fueled Hearts On Fire’s success and will continue to provide momentum towards our company’s goal of becoming a world-class cultural icon,” said Glenn Rothmann, CEO of Hearts On Fire.
Israel joined Hearts On Fire in 2004 after spending 15 years running a luxury home furnishings business and subsequently founding two additional successful businesses. He graduated from Harvard University in 1979 and earned his MBA from the same school in 1981.
