One of the highlights of the VicenzaOro First fair is seeing the new Gold Expressions jewelry—limited-edition pieces produced by Italian manufacturers in partnership with the World Gold Council and the VicenzaOro fair. Contained in this year’s collections are 120 pieces from 23 Italian jewelry makers, including Sade and Superoro.
Attendees got a good look at the collections in a swanky, well-attended soiree held on Sunday night, where champagne flowed like tap water in the WGC’s new digs—a newly designed and singularly inhabited pavilion in the West Entrance Square.

Relative newcomer to the organization David Lamb, managing director for jewelry, welcomed guests, along with Roberto Ditri, fair president, who recently surpassed his one-year mark at the helm of the show.
Themes in this year’s collection total six: the statement cuff; soft gothic; intricate and delicate; opulent organics; bold links; and sculptural forms. Stunning model photography for the ad campaign is by London-based Robert Wyatt, and a host of other impressive names—celebrity hairstylist Ben Cooke, makeup artist Mary Greenwell, and stylist Rosie Green—helped create the model’s looks.
