As if gorgeous baroque South Seas pearls needed further embellishment, Yvel has coated some of its strands in rich 18k yellow gold to enhance natural golden and creamy white hues.
“It’s a casting process we do for each pearl, according to the shape of the pearl,” explains Isaac Levy, owner, who says there’s almost “zero thickness of gold” on each.
A 30-inch and 32-inch strand retail for $39,800 and $42,520, respectively.
