Now, I hate to be a nag, but …
… I think that this serves as another great example of how to wear large / longer drops, as opposed to how we have seen some worn in the past.
Jada Pinkett Smith at the premiere of her husband’s feature film “I Am Legend,” held on December 11, 2007, in New York City wore emerald earrings with rose cut diamonds by Bochic (shown below).
These Bochic, emerald earrings with 5.66 cts. t.w. of diamonds are set in silver and gold. They retail for $9500.
But how do they work with the outfit?

Well, to be honest, I hate this dress. It reminds me of Chris Rock’s costume from when he hosted the VMAs and came out in a huge “Adam Leaf” (I tried to find a picture folks, it just didn’t work out) / of Tinkerbell from Peter Pan.
It just goes to show that a bad outfie can make even the most beautiful of women look a little silly. The gold pumps were a great choice though. As were the earrings, though the dress wasn’t a perfect fit, the earrings were perfect for the dress.
I must say that these earrings they reminded me a bit of America Ferrara’s earrings at the Emmy’s in that they fall into the trend of designers leaning towards an antique feel.
We’ll see who else chooses to nod to old Hollywood with their looks at the Oscars. Stay tuned!
