Leading Jewelers of the World launches national ad campaign

Leading Jewelers of the World, the nation’s premier association of retail jewelers, plans to launch a national consumer advertising campaign.

The campaign consists of an eight-page advertorial in the November 3 issue of Womens World Daily, the premier publication in the fashion industry, and full page ads in each of their December 1 and 8 issues of Forecast. In addition, a full page, full-color ad will also appear in the December issue of Elle, the November issue of Vogue, and the December issue of W.

The effort will reach almost 16 million primary readership consumers as well as some of the most influential people in retailing and fashion, said Jack Gredinger, executive director of Leading Jewelers of the World.

“The total cost to each member for this entire program is under $5,000,” Gredinger said. “The purpose of this advertising effort is to unite all our members nationally under the umbrella of the Leading Jewelers of the World trust mark—a consumer mark which represents ‘The Ultimate Jewelry Buying Experience’ for diamonds and diamond jewelry.”

Leading Jewelers of the World, a W.B. David & Co. initiative is a brand-enhancing program for the retail jewelry industry. It selects only premier market leaders for membership and is open to a total of just 125 elite jewelers throughout the United States.
