Korean Jewelry Fair Opens Thursday

The Korea International Jewelry and Watch Fair 2008 will be held April 24-27 in the COEX center in Seoul.

The sixth annual fair is sponsored by the Korea International Trade Association, Jeollabuk-do, and the Small and Medium Business Administration. Approsimately 150 exhibitors from 20 countries will be exhibiting at the fair. Foreign companies include Blumer GmbH of Germany, Tasaki Jewelry of Japan, Golay Buchel of Japan, Taka Jewellery Pte. Ltd of Singapore. Among the Korean luxury jewelry companies include Princess, GP Diamonds, Feretiva (Union Brand of Designers), Core Jewelry Co.Ltd., Far East Gem & Jewelry Co. Ltd, Gembros Jewelry Co.Ltd.

The first two days of the fair will be dedicated to the trade. The last two days will be open to the public. Events at the fair include a jewelry fashion show and jewelry awards presentations.
