King of Prussia Mall Adds Retail Space

The King of Prussia Mall, based in King of Prussia, Penn.,
announced plans on July 20 to add enough retail space to fit 10 new stores.

The mall said it will demolish the former Wanamaker’s
department store in The Plaza, and redevelop the retail space adjacent to it.

The two-story, 122,790 square foot redeveloped space should
be completed by the holiday season.

This will mark the ninth major renovation or expansion since
the mall was originally built in 1961.
