The Jewelers Vigilance Committee and the Jewelers Board of Trade will present “The Basics of Memo Transaction – The Dos and Don’t’s of Trading on Memo” at The Instore Show, Navy Piers, Chicago, April 20 at 8:30 a.m.
Attendees will receive a copy of “The Essential Guide to ‘Memo’ Transactions” a new publication in the JVC series of essential guides to legal compliance in the jewelry industry.
The guide includes important topics, including: consignment agreements, bankruptcy protection, frequently asked questions, and a glossary of terms.
The guide was developed to respond to industry concerns about the consequences of sending goods on memo. It gives jewelry firms a step-by-step method to best position their businesses in cases of economic reversals.
