The Jewelers’ Security Alliance will be conducting a meeting at the JANY Summer Show concerning Local Crime Prevention Networks for Jewelers. The meeting will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Javits Convention Center, Room 1D05.

JSA, working in partnership with Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company and Jewelers of America, is organizing local networks of jewelers throughout the U.S. who will share information on crime and work closely with their local police. Each attendee will receive a copy of a 25-page booklet entitled “A Guide for Organizing Local Crime Prevention Networks of Jewelers and Police,” and a 24-minute DVD entitled “Jewelry Crime for Law Enforcement,” that they can share with the local police department where their business is located.

Anyone interested in organizing or joining a local crime prevention network are urged to attend. If you cannot attend the meeting but want more information, see JSA personnel in Booth 2987 during the JANY Show, or email JSA and we will send you the organizing booklet and DVD.
