Jovella 2007, the International Jewelry Trade Fair in Israel will be held July 10 and 11 at the Israel Fairgrounds, Tel-Aviv.

The event offers domestic and foreign visitors fresh designs and new spirit in jewelry in an artistic mesh of ultramodern and traditional art, east and west, ancient and modern.

Jovella 2006 attracted more than 11,000 trade visitors, a 10 percent increase compared to the previous year, including 160 buyers, retailers, journalists, and distinguished guests from abroad.

The Jewelry, which is displayed at Jovella offers:
* Creative designs
* Up-to-date fashion
* Reflecting a mélange of cultures and traditions
* Combining the exotic with the state-of-the-art, and the ethnic with cosmopolitan

Israel is one of the world’s largest sources of polished diamonds, specializing in superb cutting, finishing, and setting. Therefore, Israel is highly attractive market for buyers as there is a significant saving in selling commissions.

Israel infuses technology into all industries – Jewelry is no exception.

Hundreds of mid-sized manufacturers facilities are designed to cater to the emerging changing demands of the markets.

In 2006 Israel had $390 million in Jewelry exports, which were comprised of:

* $312  million in Gold Jewelry (including gold jewelry set with diamonds)
* $29  million in silver jewelry
* $44  million in fashion jewelry
