Rachael Ray and the Jewelry Information Center have become close friends.

When the the television show host, bestselling cookbook author, and editor-in-chief of her own lifestyle magazine walked down the red carpet at the 79th Academy Awards and Governors Ball, following the Oscars, she was wearing jewelry that JIC helped her to select.

Ray chose to wear jewelry provided by JIC member, Blu Jewelry. Blu Jewelry designer Betty Lou Moscot is a trained graphic designer and art director who started designing her 18k gold and diamond jewelry in 2002. 

JIC and Rachael Ray also teamed up on a television segment featuring the star and her stylist selecting her highly anticipated Oscars outfit and jewelry. The segment was interspersed with clips from backstage and at the Governor’s Ball while Ray interviewed Hollywood’s elite.
