Jewelers of America launched “Cracking the Code: A Guide to
Jewelers of America’s Code of Professional Practices” on Aug. 2.
The “Code” is a three-section guide that shows JA members
how to use the group’s Code of Professional Practices to build their business
and increase profitability, customer satisfaction, and customer retention. It
is part of the JA website’s new eLearning
The guide is geared toward business owners and managers, who
are encouraged to review it at their convenience and then share knowledge with
their staff at meetings, as handouts, or in training sessions.
“‘Cracking the Code will help bring our Code of Professional
Practices to life for JA businesses,” said president and CEO Matthew A. Runci
in a statement. “The online guide makes the connection between the everyday
business decisions that improve our members’ bottom lines and the ethical,
social and environmental practices within the Code of Professional Practices.”
