Jewelers of America Announces Staff Changes

Jewelers of America announced leadership changes to its membership, marketing, and communications departments.

David Peters, formerly director of member services and education, is now director of education and industry relations.

Molly Fallon, formerly director of marketing and communications, is now director of marketing and membership. Fallon joined JA in 2009 to develop the association’s marketing outreach. Prior to joining JA, she directed marketing strategy at Blue Tulip, a gift and stationery retail chain.           

Amanda Gizzi, formerly director of consumer communications, is now director of communications. Gizzi has also been a spokesperson for the Jewelry Information Center and is considered an authority on fine jewelry trends.     

JA is also seeking eligible candidates for the position of president and CEO, as Matt Runci plans to retire from the position at the end of the year. A search committee is currently accepting and reviewing applications. View the job posting.
