Jewelers for Children to Host 5th Annual Rings of Strength in Las Vegas

Jewelers for Children (JFC) has announced that it will hold its fifth annual Rings of Strength event at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 4. The event, which offers participants the option of a 5K walk/run, 50K Red Rock Valley biking challenge, or 10K street-level bike ride, kicks off at 5:30 a.m.

Sponsored by JCK Events with additional sponsorship from JIS Exchange, Ashi Diamonds, Freeman, and CMAC, Rings of Strength will once again raise funds to benefit the Jewelers for Children charity partners. Participants have the option to create their own fundraising page, either individually or with a team.

Rings of Strength got its name from the story of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital patients Maggie and Odie: As they shared their battle with cancer, Maggie gifted Odie with a ring engraved with the word Strength. To honor their story, each participant in this year’s event will receive a silver ring engraved with the same message, courtesy of Ashi Diamonds.

Since 2013, more than $250,000 has been raised by event participants in support of Jewelers for Children’s charity partners. This year, JCK has partnered with JFC to honor the highest-earning fundraising team or individual with four Jewelers for Children Gala Dinner tickets, private car service and tickets to Rocks the Bowl, and 30 drink tickets to be used at the Rocks the Bowl concert.
