The Jewelry Design Professional Network will be holding its Second Annual Scholarship Fundraiser on July 22. The JDPN awards two scholarships a year to deserving Jewelry students.

The event, which begins at 6: 15 p.m., will be held at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City, Room D207

At this meeting Helena Krodel from the Jewelry Information Center, will discuss promotion, marketing, and other interesting and useful matters for those who are jewelry designers or are seeking a career in the industry. Krodel has extensive experience in promotion and marketing and is frequently quoted in the press regarding socio-cultural trends that affect the jewelry industry.

The second half of the evening will feature a panel discussion titled, “What works in self promotion.” Audience members will be able to participate.
