On March 16 in New York City, JCK senior editor Rob Bates received a 2012 Jesse H. Neal Award for his Cutting Remarks blog.
This year marked the 58th anniversary of the Neal Awards, which have been called “the Pulitzer Prize of business media.” Cutting Remarks was awarded Best Commentary for a publication earning $3,000,000 to $7,000,000 in gross advertising/circulation revenue. The blog also won a Neal Award in 2008.
“I give my sincere thanks to the Neal judges, as well as to my readers and the JCK and TMG teams for their ongoing support,” says Bates.
