JCK’s Lutin named shining star

Robin Lutin, JCK magazine’s regional manager of southern California and Hawaii, has been chosen to receive the Shining Star award from the Los Angeles chapter of the Women’s Jewelry Association.

To be eligible for a Shining Star award, a WJA member must have been a member for at least two years, be actively involved in her (or his) chapter, and be nominated by the membership of that chapter. Winners receive a ticket to the Women in the Know conference, plus $500 for hotel and travel, valid for two years.  Lutin has a board member of the Los Angeles chapter of the Women’s Jewelry Association for eight years, serving a term as co-president with Caroline Stanley. She and other WJA “Shining Star” recipients from chapters nationwide will be recognized at the Women in the Know event, scheduled for Friday, March 5, at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. (For more information about the conference, log onto www.womensjewelry.org.)

Growing up in southern California, Lutin knows something about stars: not only is she an avid movie buff, but since joining JCK nine years ago, she also consistently ranks among an elite group of top sales performers within Reed Business Information, JCK magazine’s parent company. Prior to joining JCK, Lutin held star sales positions with Softbank Interactive Marketing Inc., a firm specializing in web site advertising, and Compaq Computer Inc.
