JCK Las Vegas announced May 24 that the 2011 JCK Las Vegas show will feature a mobile app and interactive event guides to help in show planning.
“The interactive event guides and tools offer the next step in planning and navigational support to help customers make the transition to the new venue–Mandalay Bay–much easier,” said Yancy Weinrich, Industry Vice President, JCK Events. “The guides consist of online, mobile and ‘human’ tools.”
Before the show, attendees can visit jcklasvegasshow.com and use the MyJCKShowPlanner online tool which provides access to the location of their current manufacturers and suppliers and pinpoints new exhibitors. This tool enables the buyer to set-up an online agenda placing appointments, educational sessions and networking opportunities right into a personal calendar. Attendees can access MyJCKShowPlanner at jcklasvegasshow.com/MyJCKShowPlanner.
The JCK mobile application provides access to the JCK Show Guide from any web-enabled mobile device. The JCK Las Vegas mobile application provides searchable exhibitor, product, special events and educational content and offers the following benefits:
- Interactive map with booth-to-booth routing to easily find exhibitors
- Browsing by product category and exhibitors
- Access the JCK personal agenda built in MyJCKShowPlanner to maximize time and efficiency
- Up-to-date transportation to and from the venue
- Exclusive JCK Las Vegas alerts about new products, special events, show updates
JCK Las Vegas Mobile is now available for iPhones, Droids and Blackberries.
Additionally, JCK Las Vegas is setting up a series of Information Centers located throughout Mandalay Bay. Staffed by the JCK team to provide maps and directions, the info counters will be fortified by the JCK team’s roving information personnel who will be easily identified by their “Ask Us Where” t-shirts. Hotel Information Counters are also located throughout the venue.
“Our goal is to make the Mandalay Baytransition as smooth as possible and to have our customers armed and prepared to conduct business in the most efficient and effective way,” Weinrich said in a statement.
