RAD (Red Carpet Advocacy) Emmys Auction: Through Oct. 2

Retrouvai white quartz and pink tourmaline Lollipop ring
Lollipop ring with white quartz and pink tourmaline in 14k yellow gold, retail value $5,145; Retrouvaí

The 2020 Primetime Emmy Awards show was anything but typical—but all those virtual clips (and concurrent social media posts) offered delightful close-ups of the jewelry (read our coverage here). Glittering in piles of Retrouvaí jewels, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Rachel Brosnahan cozied up to the festivities in silk pajamas; the ring she was wearing (pictured above) is part of a RAD auction benefiting Michelle Obama’s @WhenWeAllVote nonpartisan voter registration organization. (Sophie Ratner’s Self Made necklace, worn by Octavia Spencer, is also part of the auction.)

Female Design Council “Evolved Resolve” Virtual Exhibition: Through Oct. 23

Single Stone Trunk Show/Restyling Event: Sept. 29–Oct. 3

Britt redesigned engagement ring Single Stone
JCK contributing editor Brittany Siminitz’s redesigned engagement ring by Single Stone is a stunner.

Hosted by Greenwich St. Jewelers in downtown NYC, this shopping event with L.A.-based jewelry designer Single Stone is as much about finding the vintage-inspired engagement ring of your dreams as it is about working with the team to reimagine your unwanted jewels into something astonishingly chic. Not one but two of JCK‘s editors can personally attest to the creative vision of Single Stone co-owner Corina Madilian: Brittany Siminitz wrote a story about her engagement ring’s transformation and Emili Vesilind posted her perfect-in-platinum bauble on Instagram. Three ways to shop the event: in-store by appointment, Zoom by appointment, or online. And best of all? A 10% discount.

In her latest webinar, The Cartiers author Francesca Cartier Brickell will lead a conversation with Wilfried Zeisler, chief curator at the Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens, about bejeweled heiress, businesswoman, collector, and philanthropist Marjorie Merriweather Post. The museum is Post’s former Washington, D.C., residence, and Brickell traveled there as part of her research for the book. Together she and Zeisler will take viewers on a behind-the-scenes tour of the estate, including a peek at Post’s incredible jewelry collection, replete with pearls, Mughal emeralds, and Fabergé eggs. Register here.
