JA Special Delivery Attendance Up 13%

The JA New York Special Delivery Show, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, Oct. 28-30 had a 13 percent attendance increase, according to show officials. 

“We were very pleased with the buyer response and turnout at the JA Special Delivery Show this year,” said Drew Lawsky, group show director for JA New York. “We are continuing to evolve the show-model in response to both retailer needs to fill their inventory with a diverse array of offerings, as well continue to provide exhibitors with the best exposure to the buyers’ market and a positive show environment.”

More than 400 exhibitors showed their collections, which included precious stones, diamonds, gold and silver to beads, fashion-forward chains, hoops and bangles could be found on the show floor. International exhibitors from Hong Kong, Italy, Brazil and Thailand brought designs often not seen within the U.S. market, show officials said. 

The next show on the JA New York calendar will be the JA New York Winter Show, will be held on a new date pattern of March 9-11, 2008, at the Javits Center.
