JA Offering Industry Scholarships

Jewelers of America announced that its members can apply for scholarship funds for professional development courses through Sept. 30.

The scholarships will cover 70 to 80 percent of the cost of the program.

JA scholarships are available from leading industry education providers, including: the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Distance Education eLearning Course; Diamond Council of America (DCA) home-study courses; the Jewelers Education Foundation of the American Gem Society (JEF); and Gemmological Association of Great Britain (GEM-A) Foundation and Diploma courses. 

Jewelers of America also offers scholarships for its own Bench Professional Certification program, covering up to 80 percent of all fees.
