On Aug. 31, Jewelers of America announced that it is accepting entries from JA retail members through Jan. 6 for its 2012 CASE Awards.

The CASE Awards will be held at the JA New York Winter Show, Jan. 22–24. Interested jewelers can find complete entry requirements and jewelry submission guidelines at jewelers.org/caseawards.

This year’s contest will also feature a new “Entry Platinum Jewelry” design category sponsored by Platinum Guild International, USA.  

The new category is open to bridal semi-mounts retailing for less than $2,500 or fashion jewelry retailing for less than $3,500, with platinum as the principle design element and the most visual precious metal component.
