Israeli Diamond Industry to Have Record Presence at Hong Kong Show

The Israeli diamond industry will have the largest presence to date at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, to be held on March 6 – 10. This year the Israel Diamond Pavilion, sponsored by the Israel Diamond Institute, will host 40 Israeli diamond manufacturers and exporters. In addition, there will be 10 Israeli diamond companies exhibiting throughout the show.

The Israel Diamond Pavilion is located in Hall 5, Aisles D,E,F,G, and Annex. IDI’s information booth is located at 5F 21.

An online mini-site, which can be accessed through the IDI portal site at http://www.israelidiamond.co.il/mailinglist/HongKongMarch07/HongKongMarch07.html, enables buyers to visit the pavilion virtually before the fair. The mini-site includes contact details of all Israeli exhibitors and a map indicating their location at the show.

Hong Kong is the second largest market for Israel’s polished diamond exports, representing 15 percent of total sales. In 2006 exports of polished diamonds to Hong Kong were $986 million.
